Dr Sassan Zaker

Dr Sassan Zaker is an investment manager with 27 years of experience in asset management and private banking. He started his financial career at UBS trading and sales focusing on derivatives and applying neural networks algorithms to trading. Sassan Zaker then moved to the investment side focusing on hedge funds and ultra high net worth investors. He joined Julius Baer asset management as Head Alternative Products and Advisory.
Currently, he works as an Investment Manager at CIO Office of Julius Baer in Zurich. Sassan Zaker is a lecturer at Swiss Finance Institute (SFI), as well as at the Institut für Finanzdienstleistungen Zug (IFZ). His current research interest is on Modern Wealth Management as a new approach to wealth management, a growing global industry, which is being challenged by new technologies.
Sassan Zaker holds an engineering degree from ETH Zurich and a PhD from EPF Lausanne. He obtained a CFA degree in 2002.
