Areas Elective Courses

  • These courses are exclusively for MAS MTEC students. 
  • They are held in interactive block courses and require on-​site presence.
  • All courses are freely selectable. 
  • However, some courses may have registration prerequisites or a selection process.
  • Course IDs beginning with 365 characterise courses for MAS MTEC students only. 
  • This course is exclusively for MAS MTEC students.
  • The voluntary 6-​day study trip module takes place during the fourth semester.
  • Destination and date of the study trip can change from year to year.
  • Course IDs beginning with 365 characterise courses for MAS MTEC students only.
  • Students may select from the vast repertoire of MSc MTEC electives.
  • All courses are freely selectable. However, some courses may have registration prerequisites or a selection process.
  • These courses are attended together with MSc MTEC students.
  • Course IDs beginning with 363 characterise couses which are attended togehter with MSc MTEC students.
  • These courses serve to broaden students' education in associated and interdisciplinary fields.
  • MAS MTEC students have the opportunity to earn at most 6 CP from other ETH departments.
  • However, courses at institutions other than ETH are not recognised.
  • Prior to signing up for these courses you have to get approval from the .
  • No credit points will be awarded for language courses.
