Onboarding Workshop

Starting a new programme involves a significant investment of time, energy and money. To help you get the most out of your investment, we are offering an Onboarding Workshop every year in September exclusively to first-semester MAS MTEC students.

Event details

The MAS MTEC Onboarding Workshop is designed to help you get the most out of the next two years. It is highly participatory and blends group and individual exercises with inputs from relevant social-scientific and psychological research findings.

Through guided discussions, reflections and exercises, you will articulate your vision and goals for your time at ETH. You will acquire concrete self-management and time-management tools. You will learn about the benefits of peer learning and how to make the best use of it, as well as how to cultivate a lifelong-learning mindset.

In addition, the MAS MTEC Study Office will provide you with valuable information about administrative processes like course booking, enrolment and credit points, and will answer any questions you might have about the programme.

Finally, this workshop is a great opportunity to get to know your fellow students and build a network of peers that will provide support for you throughout your journey at ETH and beyond.

The next MAS MTEC Onboarding Workshop will take place in September 2025.
