Dr Marcus Zimmer is a lecturer and researcher at the Institute of Marketing Management at the ZHAW School of Management and Law in Winterthur. Before assuming his current position, he worked as a senior researcher in the Technology Marketing Group at ETH Zurich.

Dr Zimmer’s background is in psychology and business administration; he received his doctorate from the Technical University of Munich (TUM). His research focuses on buyer-​seller relationships in complex transactions (e.g. customer solutions) in B2B markets. He is also interested in the interplay between a firm’s marketing strategies and consumer behaviour in the area of high-​tech products.
