Mala Banerjee has over 20 years’ experience designing and delivering leadership-development programmes for large international companies such as Porsche, BMW, Akzo-Nobel, Lafarge-Holcim, LG Electronics, Nokia, Reliance and Heineken. 

She is currently the academic coordinator of the top management programmes at Porsche in Stuttgart, Germany. She teaches organisational change as a guest lecturer at ETH Zurich, at ESSEC Business School’s and Mannheim Business School’s flagship joint Executive MBA programme as well as in ESSEC’s EMBA and custom programmes. She also has a part-time appointment as lecturer and research associate at HEC Paris.

Initially trained as a journalist, Ms Banerjee holds an undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Hartford. She has participated in continuing education programs at HEC Paris and INSEAD. She has also gained experience in executive education on partnership programmes at HEC Paris, INSEAD and its alliance partner the Wharton School, and MIT Sloan.
