Professor Daniel Baumann

Professor Daniel Baumann has worked as a project, programme and project portfolio manager in research for twenty-five years. He spent thirteen years as the Executive Director and President of the Swiss Project Management Association (spm). Since 2010, he has been the Deputy Dean of the School of Life Sciences and Facility Management at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW). Until his recent award of emeritus status at ZHAW, he was also the Director of the university's strategic digital transformation initiative.

Professor Baumann currently works as a senior consultant, coach and trainer. He holds a PhD in Natural Sciences and a Master's degree in Project Management. He is IPMA Level A and B certified and an accredited SDM/SKWM business mediator.
