Dr  Benjamin  Huber is a seasoned sustainability professional with over 15 years of experience across the private and public sectors, including significant roles in the banking and insurance industry.

He currently serves as Head for Environment and Health Protection at the City of Winterthur, where he leads three departments and spearheads the city’s environmental and climate action strategy. He was a member of the advisory board of the Swiss Climate Foundation and served on the ETH Risk Center Partnership Council.

Dr  Huber is passionate about innovative approaches to mitigating climate risks in agriculture and enhancing the resilience of climate vulnerable communities. As a co-founder of ClimateRE a social enterprise, he actively advances these goals.

He holds both a Diploma in Earth Sciences and a Doctorate in Natural Science from ETH Zurich.
