MAS+ Workshop: Addressing the climate crisis with tangible approaches

The state of the climate has environmental, socioeconomic, and financial implications. This workshop elicited solutions, best practices and strategies to leverage your position and to create positive transformation in your industry.

This workshop gave participants an overview of the current state of the climate, its effect on the environment and people’s health as well as global policies.

In the first part of the workshop, speakers presented resilience scenarios and associated financial risks, laid out current solutions, sustainable industrial practices and success stories, and explained the regulative impact on Swiss companies.

In the second part of the workshop, participants learned the methods allowing them to identify concrete tangible actions in their professional environment. They reflected on the scientific inputs received in the first part of the workshop, and used co-creation, envisioning and systems thinking to cut paths towards action in their sphere of influence. Participants identified steps to tackle the climate crisis from where they currently stand professionally and can contribute effectively towards co-creating larger change: seeking for potential change the professional environment, taking a systemic perspective to identify intervention points, and finding and the means to activating allies.
