Professor von Krogh to chair ETH Zurich Global Advisory Board
Georg von Krogh, Professor for Strategic Management and Innovation at D-MTEC, has been elected as Chair of the Global Advisory Board (GAB) of ETH Zurich. The board advises ETH Zurich’s President in matters regarding international strategy.
The GAB provides strategic foresight and ideation, in addition to critically appraising the university from an outside perspective. Its support is crucial to maintaining ETH Zurich’s position as one of the leading universities worldwide.
Georg von Krogh takes over this position from Professor Michael Ambühl, Chair of Negotiation and Conflict Management at D-MTEC, who served on the Board since 2013.

Georg von Krogh was born in Oslo, Norway. He holds the Chair of Strategic Management and Innovation in the MTEC Department at ETH Zurich. He is a member of the ETH Strategy Commission, and is Chairman of the International Advisory Board of the Research Council of Norway. He also holds a honorary position as Research Fellow at Judge Business School, University of Cambridge.
